TOWNS around the district will be taking time out to remember our fallen soldiers and the sacrafices they’ve made on Anzac Day.

Residents are invited to take part in dawn services, marches, wreath laying and other events on April 25.

In the Northern Grampians Shire, you can attend:

ST ARNAUD:

Dawn service: 6am at the St Arnaud RSL

Wreath laying and march: 10.30am at cenotaph

Commemorative service: 11am at RSL

STUART MILL:

Service and wreath laying: 11am at War Memorial

In the Buloke Shire. you can attend:

COONOOER BRIDGE:

Service and wreath laying from 9am (get there at 8.45am)

Followed by morning tea.

CHARLTON:

Wreath laying: 8.55am at Cenotaph

Ceremony: 9.20am at the Rex Theatre

Morning tea: 10.30am at RSL Clubrooms

WYCHEPROOF:

Service: 11am at Centenary Park

BBQ lunch: after service on Mount Wycheproof

BIRCHIP:

Nursing home service: 10.15am

Commemoration: 11am at RSL Hall

Lawn bowls and afternoon tea: 1.30pm

DONALD:

Dawn service: 6.30am at the Memorial Hall

Breakfast to follow

Supporting fallen families

RSL representatives will be out in force selling poppies over the next few weeks in order to support the welfare of soldiers and their families.
