What a thriller: Michael comes to life on-screen

Michael follows the story of the extra ordinary world of Michael Jackson and his early days in the Jackson 5, to the visionary artist that he was.
“Michael” is a 2026 American biographical film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan and covers his childhood with his family in the 1960s to the Bad tour in the late 1980s.
You’ll get an insight into his creative ambition that fuels a relentless pursuit to become the biggest entertainer in the world.
An outstanding performance by his nephew, Jaafar Jackson, that leads you through this amazing film.
Other star performances are by Miles Teller, Colman Domingo and Nia Long.
Despite mixed critical reviews, particularly criticising the sanitised portrayal and narrative depth, audiences have responded positively, praising Jaafar Jackson’s performance and the musical sequences.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film achieved a record-breaking box office opening for a music biopic, with nearly $100 million domestically in the US and strong international performance.
