VFF works to support fire affected farmers
VFF President Brett Hosking said work is underway to get fodder to livestock immediately and over the preceding weeks.

THE Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) is coordinating fodder relief for farmers affected by the devastating Victorian bushfires.
As part of their agreement with the State Government, the VFF has enacted the Emergency Fodder Support Program to coordinate the donation of fodder and deliver it to bushfire-hit impacted farmers across Victoria.
VFF President Brett Hosking said work is underway to get fodder to livestock immediately and over the preceding weeks.
“It is very difficult to access much of the bushfire zone at the moment, but the VFF is working with other agencies such as Agriculture Victoria, the Victorian Government, local government authorities and organisations such to get fodder to where it is needed.”
Impacted farmers seeking fodder and those wishing to donate fodder can register online at www.vff.org.au/vff-emergency-fodder-program/ or call the VFF on 1300 882 833. Farmers can also request and offer agistment via the VFF website.
