Vale Robin Letts - newspaper industry icon

Robin Letts has passed away aged 96.

Mr Letts has continued the family ownership and direction of the Buloke Times and served as editor from 1987 until his passing.

The Buloke Times last year marked its 150th anniversary.

Mr Letts had followed his father as editor of the newspaper covering Donald and Birchip districts.

Earlier this year, Mr Letts was recognised by the Rural Press of Victoria with a lifetime achievement award.

The management and staff of NCN Herald extends its sympathy to the Letts family on the passing of a respected industry icon.
