THE first St Arnaud Twilight Bowls for 2026 was played last Thursday in bright, warm sunshine.

Bowlers were surprised by the generous donation of six pairs of sunglasses from Hendy Transport.

A free raffle for three pairs created plenty of excitement, with Clive Hancock claiming one pair – as well as earning free drinks for being part of the runner-up team.

The remaining three sunglasses will be raffled at tomorrow’s twilight session.
