Remains found, police search property in Donald
The investigation into the circumstances around the death of the girl remain ongoing, however police are currently treating it as suspicious. More to come.

POLICE are treating the death of a girl near Donald as suspicious after remains were found in the area yesterday.
The remains were found as part of large-scale search for 13-year-old girl Layla, conducted in bushland west of Byrne Street, Donald.
While the remains are yet to be formally identified, they are believed to be that of the missing girl.
A warrant was executed at a residential property in Donald shortly after 11am Friday morning as part of the investigation.
The investigation into the circumstances around the death of the girl remain ongoing, however police are currently treating it as suspicious.
The 13-year-old girl Layla was last seen on McCracken Street in Donald on July 4, however had not been seen or heard from since.
The Donald teen was reported missing the following day.
Local police, along with specialist officers from the Dog Squad, Air Wing and Search and Rescue Squad were involved in the search, which resulted in the remains being located late Thursday afternoon.
