Probus welcomes new members before big milestone
October will mark 50 years of the club, which the group is gearing up to mark with an afternoon tea.
IT’S AN exciting time to be joining St Arnaud and Kara Kara combined Probus Club.
New members Wendy and Laurie Goodwin were just some of the newbies added to the club in the last few weeks, just months before the club is set to celebrate a big milestone.
October will mark 50 years of the club, which the group is gearing up to mark with an afternoon tea.
There’s plenty to do at Probus, with trips across the region and further, meals together and guest speakers at monthly meetings.
The group is aimed at community members who are semi or fully retired, looking to connect with like-minded people in the same position.
The St Arnaud Kara Kara combined Probus Club meets every second Wednesday of the month at 10.30am at the St Arnaud Sporting Club.
