Potter tops invitational competition

THE invitation doubles at Charlton Croquet Club had an earlier start to avoid forecast warm weather.

The winner was Ian Potter (Boort) with two wins and 19 net points. Runner-up was Helen Gourlay (Quarry Hill) with two wins and 18 net points.

While the recent hot weather has reduced weekly playing numbers, Monday night games continue to attract a strong turnout.
