THE St Arnaud and Kara Kra combined Probus Club was fortunate enough to welcome three new members at its July meeting.

THE St Arnaud and Kara Kra combined Probus Club was fortunate enough to welcome three new members at its July meeting.
This brings their member count to 49 active members.
Probus Clubs across Australia and New Zealand provide opportunities for retired members of the community to stay engaged through fun, friendship and fellowship.
“We invite members of our community to participate in the activities of the club,” president Tony Rinaldi said.
“This year we celebrated 25 years since the forming of our club and 50 years since Probus South Pacific established itself in Australia.
“Later in the year we will celebrate our 25th birthday and invite prospective members to join us for morning tea and coffee.”
The Probus movement had its genesis in two ancestors – both in the U.K. and both established by Rotary Clubs.
Both were formed to meet the need for companionship of their peers and mental stimulation for retired business and professional men.
The St Arnaud Kara Kara combined Probus Club meets every second Wednesday of the month at 10.30am at the St Arnaud Sporting Club.
