ST ARNAUD police have been made aware of vandalism occurring on both public and private property in St Arnaud via social media.

Officers have said it is concerning that most, if not all, of these incidents have not been formally reported to police.

Police remind the community that posting about criminal activity on social media or community pages does not constitute an official police report.

All instances of graffiti or similar located where an offender is not present, should be reported online or via Police Assistance Line Phone 131 444. The online option allows the reporting person to upload photographs of the graffiti.
