Krakajak end to Charlton bowls season
COMMENCING on January 13 with an interrupted season due to hot weather and rain, the Charlton Krakajak Bowls finally got finished on Tuesday March 17 after another 15mm of rain on Monday.

With the green being reasonably heavy, we proceeded with the results being the winners of Section 1 for the Pewter Mugs, the All Stars team of Wayne Southwell, Rodney Heritage and Rhys Gahan who defeated the Peel Thunder team 8/6.
Section 2 Winners were the Lions team of John Headon, Andrew Peverill and Jeff Cox who defeated the Townies team 8/5.
Section 3 Winners were the Flintstones team of Greg Wain, Greg Barnard and Mark Windsor who defeated the Sparkles 20/11 over two games, (Sparkles did win one game by 1 shot).
With the remaining teams not in the Final, they play off for the highest score prize for the night, and the winners were the Legends team of Brad Chester and Carol Adam with 12 shots.
A P Earthmoving Manager Aaron Watts attended to present the Trophies and congratulated the club for running this event.
