Junior joys: Youngsters bring home flags

ST Arnaud's junior sporting teams have starred in North Central grand finals at Wedderburn's Donaldson Park

ST Arnaud has snared three North Central flags.

The under 14 footballers were commanding winners over Boort in the grand final played at Wedderburn's Donaldson Park where the crowed paid a record gate of $45,600.

The under 14B netballers took honours on the court against Birchip Watchem.

And completing the junior flag trifecta was the underage hockey side who defeated Charlton in a penalty shoot-out.

St Arnaud went down in penalty time against Calder United in the women's hockey final and in a controversial finish to the shoot out in men's final against Calder United.

Calder United won the senior football flag by 10 points over Birchip Watchem.
