AFTER almost a decade in the role, East Wimmera Health Service chief executive Trevor Adem is set to finish up later this year.
Mr Adem has been CEO since 2017 and has been a rural Chief Executive Officer since 2006 – in both the Gippsland and Grampians regions.
He was also the director of the Victorian Healthcare Association from 2013-2023.

Local teachers rally
TEACHERS and support staff from St Arnaud Primary and St Arnaud Secondary schools were among the thousands who joined the 24-hour strike for better working conditions last week.
As the second major statewide strike since the beginning of negatiations, Australian Education Union (AEU) is asking the state government to their ask for better working conditions for staff. More than 30,000 marched from Melbourne’s Bourke St Mall to Parliament House on July 23 and sent a clear message: “we will not stop until our schools are fully funded.”
