IT WILL be an Easter egg-stravaganza in Paradise ...

... Because who wants the Easter festivities to end on Monday after this weekend’s fare of chocolate, supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal and spending time with family and friends?

In Paradise the festival of Easter will continue on April 10 with Easter Bunny making one of his final visits to the district this year, a hunt for eggs and much more.

“Eggstravaganza at Paradise” promises another Friday full of fun for all ages, with a long list of activities planned.

One organiser Jodie Clarke said the team had been “lucky enough” to receive a grant from Northern Grampians Shire Council, which would be used to bring the event to life this year.

“We’re so incredibly grateful as this means we can make this day even bigger and better for the community,” she said. “Because for us that’s what it’s all about.

“We’re really hoping to create a beautiful, fun day for our community.”

The free event will allow artists to show off their skills as they craft an Easter hat.

Or maybe you’re a pro at guessing the amount of eggs in a jar?

Light catering will be provided, but party-goers are encouraged to bring a plate of food to share.

“We want families to come, stay and have the best day,” Ms Clarke said.
