GALLERY: Students, staff freeze for good cause
IT WAS as cold as it could get for staff and students at St Arnaud Secondary College last week.
IT WAS as cold as it could get for staff and students at St Arnaud Secondary College last week.
But it was worth it as they raised vital funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Friday lunch was the time a line-up of nervous staff and students took to the chair to seal their icy fate.
Big Freeze organiser India Griffith said this year’s event was extra special.
“Neale Daniher gave so much of his life to this cause and this disease, so I think it’s the least we can do for him now,” she said.
Staff and students were nominated and voted in over the weeks leading up to the event.
Each unlucky pair braved the icy cold buckets, full of ice donated by the St Arnaud CFA.
There were even extra buckets given for gold coin donations.
