DUBBED an event that “brought Brunswick to St Arnaud was also considered the beginning of something more.

St Arnaud’s RSL Hall was filled with eclectic energy and artistry at the ‘Ghosts of the Picture Palace: Word and Sound Art’ The event brought award-winning and emerging artists from Melbourne and Adelaide for a “unique performance” the community hadn’t seen before.

Eight artists provided a mix of thought-provoking words, such as Alex Hamilton’s immersive video and instrumental performance urging us to consider the melting ice caps, or poet Leah Muddle introducing us to each idea she had about ghosts and the piece dedicated to St Arnaud.

St Arnaud Arts Council could put on the show with support from Northern Grampians Shire.
