That momentum continued into the second half, with St Arnaud able to steadily build their advantage and keep the Tigers to limited scoring opportunities.
The Saints were particularly effective at ground level and in transition, linking up well across the ground and applying consistent pressure to restrict Sea Lake Nandaly’s ability to move the ball cleanly.
Up forward, Jarryd Kell was a standout, finishing with five goals in a dominant display, while Jake Hicks played a key role with three majors in his 100th club game.

Sean Bridgeman was influential throughout the day, taking the game on with his run and carry, providing plenty of drive and energy for the Saints. Zach Notting was strong through the midfield, using his body work and clean hands to win the contest and give St Arnaud first use around stoppages.
First year player Ethan Hilton produced the standout performance of his three-game open-aged career, continuing to show rapid improvement each time he takes the field.
Aidan Wickham spent much of the afternoon patrolling the outer side of the ground, proving a key link in many of the Saints’ forward movements.
Sea Lake Nandaly had their moments throughout the contest but were unable to sustain scoreboard pressure, with St Arnaud’s defensive work and control around the stoppages limiting their impact.
