Caravan lost in fire behind vacant Charlton shop
Residents are advised to stay out of the main street of Charlton as firefighters from across the area work to contain the fire.

SHOP owners in Charlton are closing up and moving out after a fire started in one of the vacant buildings in the main street.
At least nine firefighting crews were requested to attend a shed fire in High Street at around 12pm on Friday afternoon.
The fire was brought under control quickly by 12.15pm, but one brigade confirmed the shed and caravan were lost in the fire.
A witness said they could smell a lot of smoke in the area abd that businesses like the newsagency and flooring company are closing up and moving items out.
They said firefighters were swarming the area and the emergency alarm at the Charlton hospital was going off.
Residents are asked to stay away from the area while emergency services work.
More to come.
