ST ARNAUD Country Club Bowls Division held its annual 100 Up Championship with an excellent turnout of members and supporters.

Spectators were treated to an afternoon of high-quality bowling, with all matches played in great spirit as competitors aimed to have their name etched onto the trophy.

The final came down to a thrilling contest between Steven Atkinson and Mark Esmore, with both bowlers producing shots of outstanding quality throughout.

After a tight battle that remained close until the final ends, Atkinson was able to edge ahead and claim the 100 Up title.

In the 21-Up championship, there was an excellent turnout of members and a strong crowd of supporters lining the green.

All matches were played in great spirits, with plenty of sportsmanship and enthusiasm as bowlers chased the honour of adding their name to the trophy.

The final came down to a highly competitive battle between Gary White and Neil Robinson — better known around the club as Mouse.

Both produced quality bowls throughout, trading scoring ends and keeping the match finely balanced.

It wasn’t until the closing stages that Robinson found the crucial momentum, drawing a series of telling shots to edge clear and secure the title for this season at the club.
