Winning bedspread photos from Melbourne Show
LAST week’s North Central News carried the story (St. Arnaud 40 Years Ago September 1981) of Mrs Gwen McNally who won the Victorian Championships for a crocheted 5 ply pure wool bedspread in the Royal Melbourne Show.
Mrs McNally’s daughter Ann Parry sent in some photos of the cream jug presented to Mrs McNally, the winning bedspread, and of Mrs McNally herself.
