EDITORIAL: No apathy here but for how long
THIS weekend a comment caught our ears on a televised political discussion that ‘we [the public] need a frank and open conversation from our public authorities which is not happening at the moment and we need to get this back’. This community here in north-west central Victoria is feeling the backlash from this disappeared ‘frank and open conversation’ particularly now and particularly acutely with the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and Parks Victoria ignoring calls to come to the table and discuss the decisions they have made.
